Many of our readers are beginning new budgets this month. It seems that no matter whom I talk to the common theme is "do more with less". The lingering slow economy has been a real drag on state and municipal revenues while aging infrastructures demand more attention and resources. Sound familiar? If so, I'm certain I can help - at least with the sewer flow monitoring. Last month we added more Data Delivery Services (DDS) contracts than the previous 12 months combined. For the most part these are municipalities that want the certainty of a fixed monthly price for all of their sewer flow monitoring. Many are locking in that price for as many as five years. All have done the math and determined that Hach DDS is more cost effective than keeping a monitoring program in-house. Let me know if you're ready to try...
