In The Know On Flow

A Note From Dave Brown

Live from Chicago, it's WEFTEC 2015! Here we go again, right in the middle of the massive throngs of WEFTEC attendees. The exhibit floor is packed and the presentation rooms are busy. We hear they're predicting record attendance numbers, and if the line to pick up registration badges is any indicator, they're probably right. We shall see.

If you're here in Chicago, please make sure you come by to say hi. We've got a lot of things going on at Booth number 3631. First of all, we'd love to introduce you to our two new team members, Tim Hicks and Jenny Eisenhauer. We're excited to have two additional, knowledgeable Corporate Account Managers on the team.

As we announced last month, we're also giving away an extremely convenient FH950 Handheld Flow Meter to one lucky booth visitor. Stop by to ensure you get entered to win.

The next 2 days are going to be hectic, but it's the best conference of the year and great to see and catch up with so many talented members of the industry. I hope to see you here.

Here we go...

Did You Know?

The FH950 has a sensor that's as smart as it gets.

Since we're giving one away, we should tell you a little more about it. Did you know that the smart sensor technology built into the Hach FH950 flow sensor allows you to measure in all types of water -- clean, dirty, debris-filled, slow or low? With an innovative and compact sensor shape with intelligently-designed flow characteristics, the FH950 delivers reliable measurements at low velocities, in very shallow water, and in turbulent flow conditions. It even takes accurate readings in sediment, weed or organic debris-choked water. Plus, with an optional pressure cell for automatic depth measurement and sensor positioning, the Hach FH950 Portable Flow Meter is known for having as much brain as it is brawn.
